2010-2011 Concert Season
Uplift is the theme of the Cincinnati Boychoir’s 2010-2011 concert season. The transcendent majesty of Handel’s Messiah, songs of hope and faith by enslaved and exiled peoples, and a celebration of our nation’s heroes inspire our singing this year.

Sing Me To Freedom
The treble choirs of the Cincinnati Boychoir
Experience the songs that have provided spiritual release and celebration for oppressed peoples; this multimedia concert will explore the richness of music that came from the tragedy of the Holocaust, and centuries of African-American slavery. Featuring works by John Taverner, Andrè Thomas, and local Cincinnati composer Bonia Shur.
In cooperation with the Center for Holocaust & Humanity Education. Stage direction by Bob Sauerbrey.
